چکیده
Abstract Background Various recent studies have investigated the use of traditional fibers (metallic or synthetic) as reinforcement in mortar. In times, there has been growing interest using natural cement composites. This study was conducted to assess impact date palm, doum and sisal on mechanical properties Genetic modeling chosen find shear damage at fiber-matrix interface three composites genetic crossing operator, which allows us calculate two damages matrix fibers, respectively. Results Our objective is examine evaluate palm/mortar, palm/mortar sisal/mortar under different tensile stresses ranging from 25 37 MPa with fiber volume fraction 1 5%. It found that minimal compared sisal/mortar. However, several researchers an increase leads decrease density what we confirmed this increases when increases. Conclusions The results are line findings a experimental other plant fibers. Their showed incorporating ramie resulted 27% compressive strength, whereas synthetic 4% strength compression. recommended palm composition mortars 5% order reduce avoid limit negative environment.

Palm Date Fibers: Analysis and Enzymatic Hydrolysis
Waste palm dates were subjected to analysis for composition and enzymatic hydrolysis of their flesh fibers. The fruit contained 32% glucose and 30% fructose, while the water-insoluble fibers of its flesh consisted of 49.9% lignin and 20.9% polysaccharides. Water-insoluble fibers were settled to 55% of its initial volume in 12 h. The presence of skin and flesh colloidal fibers results in high vi...

This study was carried out in 2011 to investigate the suitability of date palm midribs (Phoenix dactelifera L.) as a lignocellulosic material for the production of wood-cement composite panels, in addition to enhancement their compatibility with cement using various pretreatments and chemical additives. Materials used for this study were midribs of fronds of different date palm varieties availa...
متن کاملMechanical Properties of the Palm Fibers Reinforced HDPE Composites
Natural fibers are used in polymer composites to improve mechanical properties to replace inorganic reinforcing agents produced by non-renewable resources. The present study investigates the tensile and flexural behaviors of palm fibers-high density polyethylene (HDPE) composite as a function of volume fraction. The surface of the fibers was treated by mercerization treatments to improve the we...
متن کاملCombined Multi-criteria Evaluation Stage Technique as an Agro Waste Evaluation Indicator for Polymeric Composites: Date Palm Fibers as a Case Study
The final features of natural fiber composites (NFCs) depend on the integrated characteristics of their constituents. In the industry today, natural agro waste fibers are evaluated using a limited number of criteria. In this work, a combined multi-criteria evaluation stage technique (CMCEST) is introduced as a simple efficient systematic indicator to enhance evaluation of the available natural ...
متن کاملDRDB: An Online Date Palm Genomic Resource Database
Background: Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is a cultivated woody plant with agricultural and economic importance in many countries around the world. With the advantages of next generation sequencing technologies, genome sequences for many date palm cultivars have been released recently. Short sequence repeat (SSR) and single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) can be identified from these genomic...
